An avid adventurist and nature enthusiast, Nova Scotian indie folk-pop singer-songwriter Michelle Calder draws inspiration from themes of nature, travel and adventure; writing many of her songs from her vehicle in beautiful scenic locations while on the road on various solo adventures. ​For Michelle, the creative process of creating the art is as much an integral facet of the art itself as the final finished recording.

A five-time 2025 and 2026 ISSA nominee finalist, East Coast Top 30 topper, with international blog and magazine acclaim, Michelle has teamed up with award-winning multi-instrumentalist/producer/singer-songwriter Samm Bailey, to bring audiences not only Michelle’s first LP, “Wildling” (released Sept 26, 2025), as well as her upcoming EP (due out in 2027), but also a fun, uplifting live show, sure to awaken the “Wildling” within.
